Caspian offshore platform — Phase II
A full-cycle engineering and installation project for one of the largest offshore platforms in the Caspian.
Within the project Prokon delivered the full engineering design, fabrication and offshore installation of the platform’s topside modules. The works were completed ahead of schedule and in full compliance with international safety standards.
Over the 26-month project, up to 640 people worked at peak, 8,400 tonnes of steel structures were used, and a zero lost-time-injury (LTI) record was maintained.
Scope of work:
- Detailed engineering design of the topside modules
- Shop fabrication of steel structures
- Installation of pipelines and process systems
- Electrical and instrumentation works
- Marine transport and offshore installation onto the platform
- Anti-corrosion coating and insulation works
- Commissioning, testing and start-up
- HSE supervision and quality assurance (QA / QC)
