Code of Ethics

1. Code of ethics

In all its activities, Prokon adheres to the principles of integrity, transparency and respect for the law. Our code of ethics sets out the expectations of our employees, partners and suppliers.

Every employee is introduced to the code of ethics on joining and undertakes to comply with it. The code is supported by regular training. Avoiding conflicts of interest, fair competition, protecting confidentiality and the proper use of corporate resources are its core principles.

2. Anti-corruption policy

Prokon applies a zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of bribery and corruption. All business relationships are conducted transparently and lawfully. Gifts, hospitality and relationships with third parties are kept under strict control.

Hotline

Employees and external parties can confidentially report any concern or suspected violation. All reports are investigated impartially and the reporting person is protected. The hotline is available 24/7 and anonymous reporting is supported.

3. Human rights

The company respects international human-rights principles, does not allow forced or child labour, and provides dignified working conditions for all employees. Diversity and equal opportunity are an integral part of our corporate culture.

4. Supplier conduct

Our suppliers are required to comply with our ethical, environmental and occupational-safety standards. Responsible conduct throughout the supply chain is part of contractual obligations.

The supplier code of conduct sets out the minimum expectations on anti-bribery, human rights and environmental protection.

5. Accountability

Our compliance programme is supported by independent audits and regular accountability mechanisms. Annual compliance reports are submitted to management and the board.

All ethics violations are recorded, investigated and addressed with appropriate measures — on the principle of transparency and continuous improvement.
